Soprano pipistrelles in the roof

Date of Observation
Roost Details
Give specific details on the location e.g. is it in the attic, under roof tiles, inside the building, in a tree hole, underneath bark of a tree:

There was a maturnity roost of soprano pipistrelles in the cavity under the roofplates. A youngling which crawled out of the roost during day time got it's way inside the cottage where I found it. I located the entrance of the roost and placed the bat on the wall near it, so it crawled it's way back inside.

The next day I found a dead youngling in the cellar.

I know that the owner was planning to renovate the place, and I gave him some tips on how to handle that with care for the bats. But I never heard from him again if he followed my advice or anything.
